Mimosa Light Cream

Mimosa Light Cream is a low-calorie cold process custard powder containing sweetening agents. Preparing custard is easy and quick: just add cold liquid to the powder and whip vigorously for 3-4 minutes with a whisk or a planetary mixer at full speed.
Its unique composition prevents synaeresis, that is separation of the liquid part over time. Mimosa Light Cream is thermostable and has a perfect resistance to freezing, making it extremely versatile. You can easily get a glossy, full-bodied custard cream without any powdery after taste.
If you use water as a preparing liquid use 400 g of powder per litre of water: this way your custard will be not only low calorie but also very low fat (less than 0.5% fat).
If you want the cream to have a fuller, more palatable taste use milk (whole or partially or completely skimmed) instead of water and don’t worry: the custard will still be low-calorie. For a thicker, more solid consistency use milk at room temperature.
If prepared with water, Mimosa light Cream , when ready, has a calorie content of 62 kcal (about half that of the standard market custard powders).
