B-Nest-candito-api

B-Nest, the LAPED Bee Candy is a paste made from a complete sugar blend and is a ready-to-use product (no additional supplements required).

Period of use
– Early spring (spring stimulation)
– Late summer (winter stock building)
– Emergency feeding

Features
From the very first field use, the Laped Bee Candy proves highly palatable compared to other candies on the market, thanks to the quality ingredients it contains and the careful production process. These factors result in a food with a soft and homogeneous consistency, free from coarse crystallisations that are difficult for bees to assimilate. Unlike other candies, no rejection by bees or collapse of the candy inside the feeding hole has been observed.

From initial trials, the Laped Bee Candy has shown a greater ability of bees to build up stores compared to other candies. This makes the product ideal for feeding bees born between August and October that will need to survive the winter.

Unlike homemade products, our candy is a balanced blend of quality sugars, suitable as an emergency feed during the coldest months of the year. Laped Bee Candy is also an excellent aid for spring stimulation and as a valuable support for the formation of new bee colonies.

Unlike syrups, Laped Bee Candy, when used in a contingent emergency situation, limits the triggering of robbing by other colonies. Laped Bee Candy does not contain corn starch.

B-Nest: the 1.5 kg Tray

Laped Bee Candy is available in the convenient B-Nest tray of 1 kg, 1.5 kg or 2 kg.

The rigid B-Nest tray allows easier movement of bees inside, facilitating feeding. Unlike soft bags, the B-Nest tray of Laped Bee Candy prevents bee mortality from suffocation and product unavailability situations.

Our B-Nest tray has been designed to be compatible with all hives on the market and does not interfere with the closing of the lid.

Instructions for building winter stores:
Remove the hive cover and open the feeding hole on the crown board. Make an opening of approximately 4×4 cm on the tray film, then place the B-Nest tray with the previously opened film facing downwards and with the opening aligned with the feeding hole. Replace the hive cover.
